ARCHDIOCESAN CONSULTATION FOR THE 2018 SYNOD OF BISHOPS ON THE TOPIC: YOUNG PEOPLE, THE FAITH AND VOCATIONAL DISCERNMENT
We encourage all parishioners to take some time and read the Preparatory Document for the Synod of 2018. After careful reading please address the questions found in the subsections. We may use these questions for broader discussion and response during the month of June. For this reason, we ask you to go to our website (catholicjproxbury.com) in the next few weeks and read the document. It will be soon available in English and Spanish. If you wish, you may return to the rectory a summary of your response to the questions raised by the document by June 30. After that, a group of volunteers will try to gather all the responses from our collaborative and write a summary that will be given to our Cardinal by July 7. Thank you for participating in this significant consultation.

40 HOURS OF EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
We are happy to announce to you that from THURSDAY, JUNE 16 TO SATURDAY JUNE 18, we will have 40 hours of Eucharistic Adoration for our Collaborative of Parishes. We will have this wonderful time of Eucharistic adoration in preparation of the Feast of Corpus Christi (June 19). The adoration will be done at St Thomas Aquinas and will include silent time of personal prayer, masses, and communal prayer services (rosaries, novenas, Liturgy of the Hours, etc.) For this reason we will display in our three churches a SIGN-UP SHEET with all the hours so that you can commit to be with the Lord in the chapel of St Thomas Aquinas at least one hour.

40 HORAS DE ADORACION EUCARISTICA
Estamos contentos de anunciarles que desde el JUEVES 16 de JUNIO al SÁBADO 18 de JUNIO, tendremos 40 horas de Adoración Eucarística en nuestra Colaborativa de Parroquias. Este maravilloso espacio de adoración lo haremos en preparación a la Fiesta del Corpus Christi (Junio 19.) La adoración se realizará en Santo Tomás de Aquino e incluirá tiempo de oración personal, misas y servicios comunitarios de oración (rosarios, novenas, Liturgia de las Horas, etc.) Por esta razón vamos a poner en nuestras tres iglesias una HOJA DE INSCRIPCIÓN con todas las horas para que puedan comprometerse a estar con el Señor en la capilla de Santo Tomás de Aquino por lo menos una hora durante estos tres días.

Come and listen to the good news!  Starting May 1st, we'll be offering a special Catechesis for Youth and Adults every Monday and Thursday evenings at 7:30pm St. Thomas Aquinas Parish Hall.  Free Baby Sitting will be provided.
